Job summary

Allied Universal in Albuquerque, NM is hiring Armed Security Officers to protect facilities and deter threats. You will report to site leadership and maintain high standards of safety and discretion while on post.

This role requires an active Level Three New Mexico Guard Card, a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior security or law enforcement experience. Pays $24.00 per hour with full-time benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Active State Armed Security Level Three Guard License
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess a Level Three New Mexico Guard Card
• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
• Excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills
• Problem solving and attention to detail
• Able to complete all range qualifications and functions

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality armed security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
• Conduct patrols around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle
• Preserve order and enforce site rules and directives
• Maintain proficiency with protective equipment and weapons
• Greet guests and escort visitors, secure entry/exit points and classified information
• Follow post orders and report safety concerns or incidents
• Respond to alarms and provide first aid as necessary
