You will monitor facilities, respond to incidents, and maintain a visible security presence to deter wrongdoing. This position requires an Armed Guard Card, being at least 21, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures and direct individuals as needed.
• Document observations and incidents accurately and communicate to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while responding to security-related needs with professionalism. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Thur 04:00 PM - 08:00 PM; Fri 04:00 PM - 09:00 PM; Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, directing individuals to appropriate areas as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
