Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring in Philadelphia, PA for a Security Professional Flex Officer. This part-time position at 100 Block of Erie Avenue offers $29.60 per hour, with shift-pickup flexibility and opportunities across healthcare, education, finance, and more.

You will perform patrols on foot or in vehicle, monitor entrances and exits, and respond to incidents. The role requires being 21+, Act 235 certified, and able to work outdoors.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen required; Allied Universal considers applicants with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• Be at least 21 years of age; able to work outdoors and stand/walk for long periods.
• Reliability, adaptability to different posts, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor entrances/exits and observe for security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or summon police/fire as needed.
• Write reports on incidents and maintain logs.
• Assist customers and employees in a courteous, professional manner.
• Coordinate emergency notifications and follow site orders.
