Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Flexible Armed Response in Cincinnati, OH. This part-time role offers fixed anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform.

The pay rate is $28.00 per hour, with a schedule including Friday 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM and potential to scale hours up to 40 per week. The job emphasizes customer service, armed patrols at a financial institution, and strict compliance with laws, licensing, and client post orders.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the banking location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and follow site procedures for restricted areas, deliveries, and after‑hours access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain a professional armed presence while complying with all applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and client‑specific post orders.
