Allied Universal in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Screening to provide reliable, flexible coverage at an assigned site.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public-service agencies as needed.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, maintain visitor and vehicle access records, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain required reports and activity logs, communicate observations to site leadership, and carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, and Allied Universal policies.
