Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Screening in Atlanta, GA. This role provides reliable fixed hours at an assigned site with opportunities to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $17.50 per hour and the schedule includes DayTime from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of security experience, a guard card or license, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public‑service agencies as needed.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, maintain visitor and vehicle access records, and report access‑control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain required reports and activity logs, communicate observations to site leadership, and carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, and Allied Universal policies.
