Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Atlanta, GA. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, designed to provide reliable hours and income stability.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific policies, directing visitors and contractors as needed.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and required records, and communicate notable conditions to appropriate personnel.
