Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government office location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, maintain visitor records as required, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government office areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with appropriate emergency responders and site contacts when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related observations.

Pay Rate: $15.45 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
