Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer EPPD Field Patrol in El Paso, TX for part-time shifts. You will monitor assigned locations, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service to clients and the public.

Candidates should have 2+ years in law enforcement or military police, a relevant credential, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen. Pay is $18.39 per hour and shifts run day and night.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to law enforcement personnel, visitors, and the public while following site policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned facilities and surrounding grounds to identify hazards and report concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and disturbances calmly and according to post orders.
• Maintain a visible armed presence to deter unauthorized access at government facilities.
• Document patrols and incidents clearly and promptly communicate results to designated personnel.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to law enforcement personnel, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, parking areas, perimeter locations, and surrounding grounds to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and applicable protocols.
• Maintain a visible armed presence to help deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and other security‑related concerns at government facilities.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken in clear, accurate reports and promptly communicate relevant information to designated personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess a college degree.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
