Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a Call Center in El Paso, TX. This part-time role involves patrolling, maintaining a visible security presence, and responding to incidents using a Level III Armed Certification and armed guard credentials.

You will provide professional customer service to employees and visitors while upholding site policies. Daytime shifts with a set schedule, pay rate of $19.34 per hour, and opportunities to expand roles through our Shift-claim

As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. Using your armed guard card and Level III Armed Certification, you will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building perimeters, parking areas, access points, and other assigned locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards, helping to deter incidents through a professional presence and timely reporting.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
