Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Armed - Entry Control in Spartanburg, SC. In this role you will protect clients at a financial institution, conduct routine patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time driving post requires a valid driver’s license and a commitment to our safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Armed security or related experience required (1+ year).
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post instructions and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the business, construction areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and visitors entering restricted or active work areas.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.
