Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a full-time role in Spartanburg, SC. You will patrol financial institutions and construction sites, deter incidents, and deliver professional customer service while upholding Allied Universal’s culture of integrity.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed security experience or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.
• Pepper spray certification preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to lift 20+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and enforce site policies during patrols.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies using established protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities and restricted access points.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, and report unusual activity per policy.
• Carry assigned equipment safely and in accordance with laws.
