As an Armed Security Officer supporting an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture. This armed post requires an Armed Guard Card/License and a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.

Pay Rate: $39.00 - $40.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and applicable laws.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of school buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious or unusual activity to designated personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation; communicate observations and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
