As a Security Officer Armed Driving Role Patrol in Nashville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving post requires an armed guard card/license and a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sat: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors at a government corrections location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other designated locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, control entry and exit in accordance with established procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate personnel and document actions taken according to site procedures.
• Maintain required reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and support a professional, respectful environment for all individuals at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
