As a Security Officer Armed Full Time Patrol Driver in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government corrections location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate professionally with staff and visitors. This driving position requires an armed guard card or license and a valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access and movement through assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; request additional assistance and follow established response protocols as needed.
• Maintain required reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and handle assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
