Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and utility customers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, administrative areas, equipment locations, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders according to established protocols.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious activity, and other security-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.44 / Hour

• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Preferred comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
