Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at government facilities by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel and public agencies.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, assisting with the orderly flow of visitors, deliveries, and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, unusual conditions, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
