As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication and exceptional customer service while working with a reliable, agile team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Thur 08:00 AM - 05:30 PM, Fri 08:00 AM - 05:30 PM.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, maintaining awareness of visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol findings, and unusual activity, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
