• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow established procedures, coordinating with emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain documentation of patrols, incidents, and daily activities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, government facility policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, courtyards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and coordinating with emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related experience, law enforcement experience, and/or military experience.
• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
