Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years related work experience for Officer I; 6+ years for Officer II.
• Certification Basic Law Enforcement Training or Armed Security Officer certification.
• HS/GED with 5–6 years related work experience in lieu of degree and years of experience.
• Firearm competency requirements and possession of appropriate license or certification.

Responsibilities

• Manages access control systems and monitors visitor management.
• Responds to incidents, emergencies, and alarms; assesses situations and acts accordingly.
• Regularly patrols designated areas (interior and exterior).
• Utilizes security technologies for intrusion analysis and incident management.
• Generates detailed incident reports and maintains records.
• Collaborates with colleagues and law enforcement as needed during security responses.
