Job summary

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking an Armed Guard II in Dayton, Ohio for a full-time role. The officer will perform surveillance, control access, monitor cameras, and respond to incidents while upholding strict security standards.

The position requires U.S. citizenship, a state weapons permit and armed guard certification, a valid driver's license, and at least a high school diploma or GED. Excellent English skills and experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess a state weapons permit and state armed guard certification.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of vehicles entering and exiting the gate; ensure only authorized vehicles enter.
• Direct vendors, visitors and others to the proper entrance.
• Keep the in/out vehicle register up to date.
• Control entrance/exit of contract personnel; verify sign-in/sign-out.
• Monitor security cameras and report safety/infractions to supervisor.
• Use emergency contact procedures to reach police, fire, or rescue when needed.
• Protect issued equipment and report damage or loss immediately.
