Job summary

DK Security in Battle Creek, MI, is seeking Armed Security Officers to protect client sites, monitor access, and respond to incidents. You will work as part of a team at a local headquarters, ensuring a safe environment for employees and visitors.

The role requires a Michigan Concealed Pistol License, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass drug screening and a physical agility test. Full duty belt and firearm are provided at no cost.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be CPL and Michigan Driver License.
• No felony convictions; comply with MCL 338.1060.
• Pass drug screening at hire and periodically afterward.
• Able to pass Physical Agility Test within 90 days and yearly.
• Able to sit/stand/walk long shifts, 8–12 hours, indoors/outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Guard posts at entry/exit points of the local base.
• Conduct foot & vehicle patrols to maintain a safe environment.
• Check employee, vendor, and visitor identifications.
• Deter unauthorized access and report incidents.
• Follow site-specific post guidelines and document daily activities.
