Responsibilities

• Monitor restricted areas, verify credentials, and report violations to site contacts.
• Prepare clear reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and security activities.

As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Pay Rate: $22.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site emergency protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized persons, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least six months of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
