Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Waxahachie, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Texas Level III Armed Certification. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while embodying Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team‑focused, and integrity-driven values.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail areas, parking lots, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports documenting incidents, patrol observations, and other security‑related activities.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
