As an Armed Security Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service to residents and guests. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential community areas, including entrances, streets, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious persons, vehicles, conditions, and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable site procedures and emergency protocols.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation; communicate relevant information to site contacts, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
