Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking an Armed Security Officer to protect clients across industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education and Government.

Pay: $32.30 per hour. Responsibilities include customer service, incident response, and regular patrols with site-specific policies. Strong emphasis on compliance with licensing and background checks; driving positions may require a valid license.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Participate in security/safety training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; varies by client site.
