Job summary

ASAP Security, a Columbus, Ohio-based security provider, seeks an Armed Security Officer to join our team. You will patrol assigned premises, protect employees, visitors, and property, and respond to potential safety threats.

Commissioned police officers and experienced armed officers are encouraged to apply, with emphasis on professionalism and reliability. Responsibilities include monitoring access, reporting hazards, enforcing rules, and coordinating with emergency responders when needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Registration/sign-in of visitors or clients with appointments.
• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Warn violators of rules and regulations.
• Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
• Report facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.
• Check doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper functionality.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
