Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks an Armed Security Officer (Part Time) for Fort Worth, TX at a major aerospace and defense location. You will patrol, deter incidents, manage access control, and deliver excellent customer service while representing the company’s culture of teamwork and integrity.

Position Type: Part Time. Pay Rate: $27.32 / Hour. Schedule: Daytime Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM and Thu 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM.

Competenze

• At least 2 years in security-related work.
• At least 3 years in combined law enforcement, military, or security or a college degree.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Industry-specific security training participation.
• Licensing requirements may be required.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Part Time Perimeter Security Clearance in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and response activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site procedures and applicable regulations.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required reports and documentation, including incident reports, patrol activity, and observations, in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
