Qualifications

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned areas, including buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while observing and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and other required documentation related to patrols, incidents, access control, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
