Job summary

Coastal Security Services, Inc. is hiring armed security officers to cover posts across Bluffton, Hilton Head Island, Beaufort, Hardeeville and surrounding areas. This standing posting places you on the roster as posts fit your license, location and availability.

Officers provide visible armed presence, control access, patrol perimeters, respond to incidents, and support drills. Pay starts at $22.50/hr with overtime at 1.5x.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older and able to obtain state registration.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Proficiency with a handgun and clear communication.
• Stand/walk patrol with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed presence at assigned campuses or sites.
• Control access, screen visitors, and monitor CCTV/alarm systems.
• Conduct building/ground patrols and patrol perimeters.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with admins/law enforcement.
• Support drills and write daily/incident reports.
