Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer (Full Time, Clearance Eligible) in Canoga Park, CA. You will perform armed patrols, respond to incidents, and deter unauthorized activity while maintaining exceptional customer service for diverse clients in aerospace/defense settings.

Position type is full-time with a pay rate of $24.58 per hour. Successful candidates will undergo a background check and drug screening as required by law and company policy.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• A valid firearms permit preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document activities.
• Conduct armed patrols of facilities and verify access points in accordance with procedures.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Carry assigned equipment per Allied Universal policies and post orders.
