Qualifications

• Two years of armed security experience or equivalent law enforcement background.
• One year of full-duty law enforcement experience with a recognized agency.
• Two years of honorable service in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.
• Proficient handgun handling and ability to meet certification standards.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional armed security and access control services.
• Safeguard government property, classified materials, and personnel within assigned areas.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access.
• Respond decisively to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activity.
• Apply training and judgment to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Enforce all security regulations and report violations.
• Maintain knowledge of post orders and duties.
• Complete accurate incident reports.
• Perform heavy work and stand for long shifts.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
