Responsibilities

• Provide professional armed security and access control services
• Safeguard government property, classified materials, and personnel within assigned areas
• Monitor and control entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access
• Respond decisively to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activity
• Apply training and judgment to identify and mitigate security risks
• Enforce all security regulations and report violations
• Maintain knowledge of post orders and duties
• Complete clear, accurate incident reports
• Stand for extended periods and work 12-hour shifts
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures
• Navigate stairs, ladders, and uneven terrain as needed
• Operate in high-noise and high-risk environments (machinery, vehicles, firearms)
• Use protective equipment, including respirators if required
• Availability for extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Travel may be required
• Perform other duties as assigned
