Job summary

Waldensecurity seeks Armed Security Officers to support the Center for Domestic Preparedness contract. You will follow post orders, enforce access controls, inspect packages and monitor alarms, while maintaining a professional security posture.

You will perform static and roving patrols, detain unauthorized individuals, and complete required training and weapon qualification to ensure safety and compliance. This role emphasizes teamwork, ethics, and dependable service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two years of full-time experience in armed security, civilian law enforcement, or equivalent position with armed forces.

Responsibilities

• Follows all assigned post orders, general and specific.
• Maintains compliance with policies, procedures and SOW.
• Controls access to the facility, including unrestricted areas.
• Enforces systems of personnel identification.
• Inspects packages/vehicles.
• Performs static and roving patrols.
• Identifies, corrects and secures security violations; initiates reports.
• Detains and reports persons suspected of violations until law enforcement arrival.
• Performs traffic control as needed.
• Manages keys, locks and access control passes.
• Monitors protection devices and alarms (fire, chemical, intrusion).
• Maintains clean, orderly environment.
• Completes monthly training.
• Passes semi-annual weapons qualification.
