Job summary

Security 1 Solutions LLC is seeking a Contract Security Officer to safeguard assigned locations and follow security SOPs. You will communicate effectively with diverse individuals, including DoD personnel and visitors, while performing patrols and enforcing access control.

The role requires DoD clearance, DCJS firearms licensing, and readiness to complete required training and background checks. We offer on-site work and adherence to strict security standards.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess a DoD security clearance.
• Armed DCJS license required.
• Ability to obtain Virginia license with firearms endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Performs security patrols and enforces access control procedures.
• Protects property from theft, embezzlement, and hazards.
• Investigates incidents and writes reports.
• Provides assistance to customers, employees and visitors per procedures.
• Works under supervision of Site Captain/Lieutenant and Project Manager.
