Job summary

Signal of New England is seeking an Armed Dedicated Security Officer in Newton, MA to protect residential buildings and assets. The role is part-time per diem with 12-16 hours per week, weekend-heavy schedule including Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday morning.

You will respond to dispatches, conduct patrols, and write incident reports while providing excellent customer service. Candidates must have an active MA LTC, pass firearms qualification, and be able to attend training in Natick and

Qualifications

• Must possess an active MA LTC.
• Must own the equipment to conceal carry or open carry.
• Must be able to pass an annual firearms qualification.
• Able to attend required training in Natick, MA and Holliston, MA.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Vigilant, observant and detail oriented.
• Self-disciplined.
• Ability to de-escalate conflict.
• Prior Military or Law Enforcement experience preferred, willing to train the right people.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible security presence to residents and guests.
• Conduct random foot patrols of the property and key areas.
• Respond to dispatches, alarms and emergency situations.
• Write detailed incident reports, tour reports and summary logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests and staff.
• Communicate and collaborate with local emergency services when required.

Armed Security Officer

Schedule

12-16 hours a week and must have weekend availability (Part-time per diem). Shift: Predominantly Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday morning. Occasional weekday evening events. Must work a minimum of 2 shifts per week.

As an Armed Dedicated Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of residential buildings, client assets, and personnel.

• Providing peace of mindby being a visible and active security presence.
• Conduct randomize foot patrols of the property and key areas.

• Providing excellent customer service to residents, guests and staff.
• Communicating and collaborating with local emergency service when required.
