Job summary

Signal of New England is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a part-time position in Arlington, MA. Shifts include Sundays 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM with a pay range of $26.00–$27.00 hourly. The role focuses on ensuring safety for residents, assets, and personnel.

Responsibilities include patrols, responding to emergencies, incident reporting, and customer service. Candidates should be punctual, professional, and able to de-escalate conflicts; MA LTC required with training opportunities available.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible security presence and patrol the property.
• Respond to dispatches, alarms and emergencies.

• Coordinate with local emergency services when required.

Job Description:

As an Armed Dedicated Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of residential buildings, client assets, and personnel.

Your daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Providing peace of mindby being a visible and active security presence.
• Conduct randomize foot patrols of the property and key areas.
• Respondto dispatches, alarms and emergencysituations.
• Writing detailed incident reports, tour reports and summary logs.
• Providing excellent customer service to residents, guests and staff.
• Communicating and collaborating with local emergency service when required.

Requirements :

• Be on-time. Be in uniform. Be a professional.
• Prior Military or Law Enforcement experience preferred, willing to train the right people.
• Must possess an active MA LTC
• Must ownthe equipment to conceal carry or open carry.
• Must be able to pass an annual firearms qualification.
• Able to attend required training in Natick, MA and Holliston, MA.
• Strong written and verbalcommunication skills
• Vigilant, observant and detail oriented
• Self-disciplined.
• Ability to de-escalate conflict.
