Job summary

Signal of New England is looking for a Dedicated Security Officer to cover overnight shifts Wednesday to Friday, 8pm–4am, on-site in Woburn, MA. The role focuses on outdoor foot patrols, deterring unauthorized access, monitoring parking and contractor entry, and maintaining security throughout the property.

The ideal candidate will have experience with overnight security, strong observation and communication skills, and the ability to walk long distances and climb stairs.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working overnight security shifts is a plus.
• Ability to walk for extended periods and climb stairs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the property on foot, walking multiple flights of stairs during each shift.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report incidents or maintenance concerns.
• Restrict unauthorized access and engage with the public in a confident manner.
• Maintain a visible presence to provide reassurance to residents.
• Write detailed reports of daily activities and incidents.
• Respond promptly to emergencies or alarms.
• Ensure all building access points are secure.

As a Signal of New England Security Officer, you will play an integral role in ensuring the safety and security of our client's communities, residents, and culture. Signal are currently seeking a reliable and observant Security Officer to join our team. This role primarily involves outdoor foot patrol duties, including monitoring parking lot activity, deterring unauthorized entry to the building during off-hours, and overseeing contractor access to the property. Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Patrol the property on foot, walking multiple flights of stairs throughout each shift
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report any incidents or maintenance concerns
• Restrict unauthorized access and engage with the public in a confident manner
• Maintain a visible presence to provide reassurance to residents

Qualifications & Requirements:
