Job summary

Archangel Protective Services Inc. is seeking a licensed Armed Security Officer for full-time work in the NW Houston area. The role requires a minimum of 3 years in armed security, a valid Texas DPS license, and First Aid/CPR certification. Immediate start available with open availability and a Tue-Fri 07:00–17:00 schedule.

Pay starts at $18.25 per hour, with a bump to $18.50 after 6 months. Benefits include medical, life, dental, vision, paid vacation and holidays, and short-term disability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of armed security experience within the last five years.
• Valid Texas DPS armed security license and ability to carry a weapon.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform armed security duties in the NW Houston area on a full-time schedule.
• Monitor premises, respond to incidents, and maintain security logs.
• Report to the Director of Operations and coordinate with team members.

Location: NW Houston area!

Schedule: Tues-Fri 0700-1700

Pay: $18.25 w/bump to $18.50 after 6 months

Qualifications:

• MUST have a minimum of 3 years of ARMED security experience within the last five years. (this does not include training time)
• MUST possess a valid Armed Security License (specifically trained in personal protection by Texas DPS and possess the required state of Texas permits and directives to carry a weapon or concealed weapon)
• MUST be certified in First Aid and CPR.

• High School Diploma, GED or HISET (High School Equivalency Test)
• Physical Assessment
