Prosegur Security USA, Inc is seeking professional Armed Security Officers to join our team in California. You will patrol, monitor premises, and respond to incidents while maintaining a secure environment and adhering to all laws and client policies.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, an armed security license, and the ability to carry a personal 9mm firearm. Strong communication and professional appearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain an Armed Security Officer license/permit in accordance with state requirements.
• Must supply and maintain a personally owned, approved 9mm firearm.
• Must successfully pass all background checks, drug testing, and required training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain alertness and deter unauthorized activity.
• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle.
• Monitor and report suspicious activity promptly.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies and incidents.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and activity reports.
• Secure facilities, equipment and designated areas per policy.

Position Overview

We areseekingprofessional, reliable, and experiencedArmed Security Officersto join our team. The role is critical in ensuring the safety of clients, employees, and visitors bymaintaininga secure environment, conducting patrols,monitoringpremises, and responding effectively to incidents. Officers must exercise sound judgment, remain vigilant, and perform duties in alignment with company, client, and legal standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain a constant state of alertness; remain free of distractions while on duty.
• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to deter and detect unauthorized activity.
• Enforce company, client, and site-specific policies in a professional manner.
• Monitor for suspicious, irregular, or unusual activity and report findings promptly.
• Respond quickly to alarms, emergencies, disturbances, and incidents.
• Prepare clear,accurate, andtimelyincidentand activity reports.
• Secure facilities, equipment, and designated areas as directed.
• Provide courteousassistanceto employees, visitors, and customers.
• Remain at assigned post until properly relieved.
• Exercise only the level of force necessary, up to and including lethal force, in situations where life is threatened, following all applicable laws, training, and company policy.
• Support investigations by gathering information, preserving evidence, andassistingsupervisors.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GEDrequired;higher education or training in criminal justicea plus.
• Mustpossessand maintain anArmed Security Officer license/permitin accordance withstate requirements.
• Must supply and maintain a personally owned, approved9mmfirearm.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
• Professional appearance, reliability, and ethical conductrequired.
• Prior law enforcement, military, or armed security experience strongly preferred.
• Must successfully pass all background checks, drug testing, and required training.
• Valid driver's license (if position requires vehicle patrol).

Off Days: Thursday & Friday

Hours : 1st,2nd & 3rd shift.
