Job summary

Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is seeking a full-time Armed Security Officer in Claremore, OK to protect staff, patients, and visitors. You will patrol facilities, manage access points, and respond to security requests with professionalism and discretion.

The role requires previous security experience and the ability to obtain Oklahoma licensing. A hospital environment experience is preferred and you will work in a patient-centered team oriented culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous security officer experience.
• Must be able to obtain Oklahoma security license.

Responsibilities

• Patrol grounds and buildings and secure assigned posts in order to provide sufficient protection to employees, patients, and visitors
• Direct and control vehicular traffic to ensure means of access and egress from the hospital
• Respond to specific requests for assistance in security related matters and investigate incidents to ensure appropriate follow-up action is taken
• Facilitate initiation of emergency and disaster procedures in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain composure in performance of duties during high stress, emergency, or unusual conditions

• Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity and women's services, ICU and cardiology services in the advanced cardiac catheterization lab.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience as a security officer
