Job summary

Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is seeking a full-time Armed Security Officer to protect staff, patients, and visitors at the Claremore, OK campus. The role requires patrolling, incident response, and upholding access control and emergency procedures with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a security officer.
• Must meet criteria to be licensed in the State of Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Patrol grounds and buildings and secure assigned posts to provide protection to employees, patients, and visitors.
• Direct and control vehicular traffic to ensure access and egress from the hospital.
• Respond to requests for assistance in security matters and investigate incidents for appropriate follow-up.
• Facilitate initiation of emergency and disaster procedures in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain composure in performance of duties during high stress, emergency, or unusual conditions.

Get to Know Your Team:

• Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity and women’s services, ICU and cardiology services in the advanced cardiac catheterization lab.
• Patrol grounds and buildings and secure assigned posts in order to provide sufficient protection to employees, patients, and visitors
• Direct and control vehicular traffic to ensure means of access and egress from the hospital
• Respond to specific requests for assistance in security related matters and investigate incidents to ensure appropriate follow-up action is taken
• Facilitate initiation of emergency and disaster procedures in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain composure in performance of duties during high stress, emergency, or unusual conditions

Job Requirements
