Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking an armed security professional to protect a leading medical center across its buildings and grounds. You will conduct patrols on foot and by vehicle, manage access and visitors, and respond as an armed first responder.

Collaborating with law enforcement, you will document safety incidents and safeguard assets following hospital security protocols. IAHSS certification is preferred; FOID/PERC/FCC credentials and firearms training are required.

Qualifications

• FOID, PERC and FCC credentials with firearms training (28+ hours) required.
• Driver’s license from IL, WI, or IN with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED; IAHSS certification to be obtained within 6 months.
• Strong judgment, discretion, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of required armed security credentials such as FOID, PERC, FCC, and firearms training (28+ hours), with the ability to maintain firearm proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license from Illinois, Wisconsin, or Indiana with a good driving record.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including standing, walking, and exposure to weather, wearing body armor.
• High school diploma or GED; hospital security experience preferred; IAHSS certification to be obtained within 6 months.
• Strong judgment, discretion, customer service skills, and the ability to handle confidential matters.
