Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Seattle, WA. You will conduct routine armed patrols, deter incidents, respond to security concerns, and provide professional customer service to shoppers and staff.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay rate is $27.00 per hour. You will work a late afternoon through early morning schedule, including Mon-Thu and weekends as listed. Allied Universal offers training, growth, benefits, and a supportive team environment.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 01:00 AM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 01:00 AM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 01:00 AM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 01:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and applicable laws.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns to site leadership and/or law enforcement as appropriate.
• Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, patrol activity, and daily logs, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
