Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Part-Time Security Guard for locations in Las Vegas, NV. You will protect clients across industries, patrol sites, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service.

The role offers a flexible, part-time schedule with opportunities to claim shifts through the company platform. Candidates should have 3+ years in security or a related field, an armed guard card, and be at least 21 years old.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Armed guard card or license required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/local laws.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and the public while following site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols at retail, mall, and government locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services.
• Monitor access control points and observe activity for unusual conditions, escalating concerns per site procedures.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with laws, licensing, company policy, and post orders; complete required reports and documentation.

Pay Rate: $21.86 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail, mall, and government locations, including buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access control points and observe activity for unusual conditions, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, company policy, and site-specific post orders; complete required reports and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
