Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver Level Three for an Austin, TX retail location. The role requires a Texas Level III Armed Certification, a valid driver’s license, and a strong commitment to safety and service.

You will perform armed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a visible security presence.。

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least five years of armed security-related experience.
• Valid Texas driver’s license as applicable.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas required.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply and vary by state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store interior, parking areas, loading zones, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrols, and observations accurately, and communicate with store management, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. • Mon 01:45 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat 01:45 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun 01:45 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least five years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
