Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Tucson, AZ. This armed guard position offers fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will provide security, respond to incidents, and ensure access control at a government veterans services location. Minimum requirements include an armed guard card or license and being at least 21 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Armed security or guard experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations following site protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location and verify authorized entry per site requirements.
