Job summary

Savage III, Inc. is an elite executive protection company seeking an Armed Security Specialist for the Needles/Bullhead City area in the United States.

The role focuses on enforcing safety policies, protecting containers, and assisting Railroad police to mitigate security risks on intermodal facilities. Eligible candidates must hold a current BSIS Guard Card and BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit, plus 40-hour Security Guard Training and related certifications, with flexibility for 12-hour night shifts

Responsibilities

• Enforce Railroad Safety Policies.
• Assist Railroad police in case of a problem.
• Deter and detect burglaries of loaded containers.
• Inspect containers and trailers for seal discrepancies.
• Notify Railroad Police for containers without seals.
• Inspect inbound/outbound container trains for missing seals.
• Stop and identify all non-employees and private vehicles on the ramp.
• Deter theft of company and employee property.
• Inspect High Value Shipments.
• Patrol perimeter fences and inspect gates.
• Escort inbound trains upon arrival.
• Conduct foot patrol of designated lots.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.

Licensing & Availability Requirements

Must possess a current and valid California BSIS Guard Card.

Must possess a current and valid California BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit for this armed position.

This position is located in Needles, California; Arizona security credentials do not substitute for required California BSIS licensing.

Must be available to work 12-hour night shifts.

Operations run 7 days per week, including weekends and holidays. Candidates must have flexibility to work nights based on assigned scheduling needs.

Must have reliable transportation and be able to reliably commute to the Needles, CA work location.

Job Summary

• Enforce Railroad Safety Policies.
• Assist Railroad police in case of a problem.
• Deter and detect burglaries of loaded containers.
• Inspect containers and trailers for any seal exceptions or other discrepancies.
• In case any loaded container or a trailer found without a seal, Security will notify Railroad Police.
• Inspect Inbound and Outbound container trains for missing seals, open container/trailer doors and trespassers.
• Stop and identify all non-employees and all private vehicles driving on the Intermodal Ramp and right of way.
• Deter theft of the company and employee's property.
• Inspect High Value Shipments.
• Patrol perimeter fences to detect damage and inspect all gates to make sure that they are locked.
• Escort and inspect all inbound trains upon arrival
• Conduct foot patrol of designated lots as directed.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent English verbal, comprehension, and written skills – Bilingual is a plus.
• Access to reliable transportation with the ability to arrive to work on time.
• Ability to arrive groomed, clean, dressed and pressed in accordance with uniform standards.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%* of the time
• Regularly required to drive,stand, walk, talk, hear, and see (using near vision, far vision, and peripheral vision) to identify and address potential threats or safety concerns
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit while remaining alert to surroundings
• Frequently required to use hands or reach with hands and arms at, above, or below shoulder level for various reasons, including detainment
• May occasionally require lifting, pushing, pulling up to 25 pounds
• Regularly works in outdoor weather conditions including severe conditions as seasons dictate
