Description
Metro Christian Academy seeks a full‑time Security Guard. The Security Guard is responsible for the safety, security, and welfare of all students, staff, and visitors on school property and at school-sponsored events and activities. The ideal candidate enforces school rules and established safety protocols and procedures and responds to and assists in crisis and emergency situations. The qualified candidate must be highly motivated with excellent communication skills and be able to act as a positive role model and develop a positive rapport with students, parents, and staff.
To be considered, candidates must be Armed CLEET certified with one-year law enforcement/security experience, required, or any equivalent combination of training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
REQUISITE KNOWLEDGE AND COMMITMENTS:
- Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate Christian professionalism appropriate to Metro Christian Academy.
- Knowledge of and ability to uphold and to integrate Metro Christian Academy’s Statement of Faith, mission, vision, motto, and ideal employee profile.
- Knowledge of handgun safety and the ability to operate it safely and accurately.
- Knowledge of safety and security laws, regulations, procedures, protocols, principles and practices.
