Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies and disturbances; coordinate with responders.
• Complete detailed daily activity and incident reports; maintain records.
• Interact respectfully with employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Tuesday to Thursday | 8:00 AM - 5:45 PM

Position Overview

Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable Armed Commercial Security Officer to protect a commercial property in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position is responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive patrols, access management, surveillance monitoring, and timely response to security concerns. The ideal candidate is observant, professional, and capable of exercising sound judgment while protecting people, property, and valuable client assets.

Primary Responsibilities

Property Security

• Perform scheduled interior and exterior patrols on foot and, when assigned, by vehicle.
• Inspect buildings, parking areas, entrances, and restricted locations for security concerns.
• Maintain a professional presence that helps discourage theft, trespassing, vandalism, and other unauthorized activity.
• Verify that doors, gates, and secured areas remain properly protected throughout the shift.

Access Management

• Verify visitor identification and authorize entry according to site procedures.
• Issue visitor credentials and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Monitor employee, contractor, and visitor access to restricted locations.
• Enforce established security protocols and client requirements.

Surveillance & Monitoring

• Observe CCTV systems, intrusion alarms, and electronic access control equipment.
• Monitor security systems for suspicious activity or equipment malfunctions.
• Identify security vulnerabilities and report them promptly.
• Maintain awareness of all assigned areas during the shift.

Incident Response

• Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, suspicious activity, and safety concerns.
• Apply reasonable force only when legally justified and in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
• Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency responders during critical incidents.
• Assist with evacuations or emergency procedures when necessary.

Reporting & Documentation

• Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation.
• Record observations accurately using company reporting systems.
• Maintain timely communication with supervisors regarding significant events.
• Protect confidential client and operational information.

Customer Service

• Interact respectfully with employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Provide directions or assistance while maintaining security awareness.
• Represent Citadel Security USA in a courteous and professional manner at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Active Oklahoma Armed Guard Card required.
• Personal firearm meeting company and state requirements.
• Must be legally eligible to possess and carry a firearm.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Basic computer skills for electronic reporting and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in armed security, military, law enforcement, or protective services.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems, alarm monitoring, and access control technology.
• Experience using security reporting applications such as TrackTik, Belfry, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of emergency response procedures and post orders.
• Demonstrated firearm proficiency and commitment to safe weapons handling.
